Chad Wienen Wins his 7th Championship!

EVS Sports athlete and multi time champ Chad Wienen was able add another title to his resume after locking up his 7th AMA Pro ATV MX National Championship over the weekend!

Heading into the final round of the series, Wienen held a 10 point advantage over the rest of the field and without much room for error, Wienen knew he had to be on his game and ride well to seal the deal on his title.  Wienen came out swinging and was feeling good heading into the first moto after being the fastest qualifier in practice.  While Wienen didn't get the holeshot, he took the lead before the end of the first lap and distanced himself from the rest of the field, taking the win in Moto 1.  In Moto 2, Wienen got off to a great start and rode mistake free throughout the race, eventually coming home in second place and securing his 7th National Championship!

Chad Wienen and Wienen Motorsports celebrating after winning the National Championship!

"Winning the championship for the seventh time is just starting to sink in. When I set off and started racing almost 20 years ago it was always a dream to win a Pro Championship. It never crossed my mind that winning more than one was even a possibility and now taking home my seventh Championship plate, it's been a dream. All of the hard work, sacrifices and endless dedication can become overwhelming throughout the season but being able to bring home a championship reminds you of why it is all worth it. The support from my family, sponsors and fans has always been the ultimate motivation for me and I would not have been able to have had any of my success without that support so for that I am truly grateful. I'm looking forward to enjoying some downtime with my family and then begin the planning for 2021! Thank you for all of the support throughout the 2020 season."

HUGE Congratulations to Chad, his team, his family and everyone else involved on the continued success!
