Although EVS Sports is technically a motocross brand, many of the protective products we bring to market have versatile designs that make them ideal for other action sports beyond simply motocross.
The crossover aspect of many EVS protective products means they can be used for various action sports activities, including snowmobile riding and racing, downhill mountain biking, UTV driving, pit bike riding, BMX, and other action sports activities.
To provide a few real-world examples of the crossover versatility of EVS products, we asked a few of our athletes for examples of how they use EVS products for activities beyond their chosen sport.
Travis Pastrana | Action Sports Icon
What can we say about Travis Pastrana that hasn't already been said? When Travis does anything, he does it in the most exciting way possible. No matter if that's pit bike riding, driving a rally car, or jumping out of an airplane, Travis always takes it to the edge and back.
This is probably why Travis Pastrana practically lives in his EVS TP199 Knee Pads. He literally wears them for about anything he does. The same can be said about Travis and the Wrister Glove. And because Travis is such a fan of his TP199 knee pads, he asked us to take the same quality, versatility, and crossover capability and create a TP199 Elbow Pad. So, we did!
Travis's Choice:
TP199 Knee Pads

Kody Kamm may be a top-level Snocross racer, but he's also no slouch on a dirt bike. When he's racing snocross, Kody chooses our TUG Impact Vest for added protection from roost and Axis Pro Knee Braces combined with TUG Fusion Tall MX Socks.
In the summertime, Kody always wears his Axis Pro Knee Braces and TUG Fusion Tall MX Socks when riding moto and a pair of TP199 Knee Pads for pit bike riding and mountain biking on big jumps.

RJ Hampshire uses our Revo 4 Roost Deflector or TUG Impact Vest during the Pro Motocross and Supercross seasons and also uses our TUG Technical Undergear throughout the year — whether it's cold or hot outside.
He loves his TUG Undergear for chilly morning bicycle rides and uses his Tug under gear while cycling or running during the winter. "It's super comfortable and keeps my body temperature normal when it's cold outside and helps out hugely on the cycles."
R.J. also tells us he often uses EVS moto gloves when mountain biking because he loves how they are, "super thin and perfect for the smaller handlebars."
R.J.'s Choice:
Revo 4 Roost Deflector
Ideal for: motocross, trail riding, snocross racing, ATV racing, and more.
TUG Undergear
Ideal for: motocross, downhill MTB, pit bike, trail riding, adventure (ADV), snocross, snowmobile, snow bike, ATV, UTV driving, and more.

Johnny Lewis | Pro Flat Track Racer and Founder of Moto Anatomy Riding Academy

Flat Track racer Johnny Lewis takes to the dirt oval in his EVS NYC Street Glove for American Flat Track racing events where leather gloves are required to race.
What other EVS products does Johnny wear regularly?
He loves his Tug Fusion Socks for chilly days on long runs. This winter, he went on a 10-mile run in 20-degree weather, and the tight fit kept him warm without the wind cooling him much. He also likes to wear the BB1 Celtek Kidney Belt for extra lower back support when mountain biking.
Finally, Johnny chooses the Freighter Bag to lug around all the usual stuff (and then some) it takes to be a professional racer and riding coach.
Johnny's Choice:
NYC Street Gloves
Ideal for:Street riding, flat track racing, adventure (ADV), and more.
BB1 Celtek Kidney Belt
Ideal for: motocross, MTB, pit bike, trail riding, adventure (ADV), snocross, snowmobile, snow bike, ATV, UTV driving, and more.
