EVS Sports Appoints Taz Sobotka as new Global Brand Director

EVS Sports, the original protective gear company, aims to further cement and enhance their status as a protection leader in the motocross industry with Taz Sobotka returning to the company as the Global Brand Director. As Global Brand Director, Taz will be overseeing and leading the brand through the evolution of the modern market by improving the already premium EVS Sports product line and by adding more value to our business partners and dealers.

Taz Sobotka, former EVS Sports Brand Manager, makes his return to EVS after having gained a plethora of experience and knowledge with Tucker Powersports, further adding to his career path in the powersports industry. Taz began as a Helmet & Apparel Specialist at Tucker and progressed to the Senior Director of Marketing just five years later while constantly working to market in new and innovative ways with the goal to inspire, educate and motivate those end users. Taz is excited to bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to the table as he returns to EVS Sports. “EVS Sports has been a mainstay in motocross protection since their inception and I’m excited to have the opportunity to not only return to work at EVS, but also have the unique opportunity of taking such an iconic brand in the industry to the next level. I can’t wait to get to work with the already fantastic EVS team and strive towards enhancing and improving EVS in every facet.”, states Taz Sobotka.

“I couldn’t be more excited about having Taz Sobotka back on the team. His skill set, talent, reputation, passion and business acumen speak volumes. Taz will be crucial in our refresh, growth and future of EVS Sports. I am convinced that nothing we do is more important than hiring and developing the right people. There is no doubt in my mind, we have a winner!”, states Todd Lentz, Senior Vice President.
