Round 12 of the Monster Energy Supercross Series took place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Indiana.
Frigid temperatures and large amounts of snow were the talk in Indianapolis. It might have been cold outside but inside the racing was heating up. Indy brought us the first of two 250 East/West Showdown races of 2018. Topping the boards for EVS was the JGR Factory Suzuki Rider of Kyle Peters. Peters was able to secure an 8th place finish on the night with the best that the 250 class had to offer.
EVS had an impressive 7 riders in the 250 showdown race with Kyle Chisholm (12th), Blake Wharton (14th), Justin Starling (17th), Jacob Williamson (18th), Chase Sexton (21st), and Hayden Mellross (22nd). The 450 class saw Vince Friese in (13th), Ben Lamay (17th), and an impressive career first main event out of Cody Vanbuskirk in (19th).
