RIDER SUPPORT

Press & News

There is nothing more important than a quality baselayer when the temperatures start to dip. Over the years, we’ve tested an array of baselayers ranging from light, sleeveless shirts, to heavier, thermal long-sleeves. Earlier this year, we received a pair of Tug Long Sleeve Winter baselayers from EVS and have been wearing them frequently now that the temps have cooled off.

Worn by many racers with shoulder injuries, the SB03 Shoulder Support provides superior compression and support by utilizing the EVS X-Strap Stabilizer and Impact System to keep it firmly in place on the shoulder when riding.
EVS Sports is once again proud to be chosen "Number 1 Knee Protection to Buy" in this year's 2022 Vital MX Audience Survey. The award marks the fourth year in a row EVS Sports has been chosen as the best product in the Knee Protection category!

Fall is here, which means winter is not far behind, especially for those living in northern latitudes in the northern hemisphere. For many, this time of year is when they get in those last few rides before the snow flies and then prep their bike for winter storage. But if one is willing, there are some simple and inexpensive ways to extend the riding season by adding cold-weather-specific items to their riding kit.

The EVS Race Collar collection is designed to offer protection against neck and collarbone injuries by reducing the risk of axial compression, hyperflexion, hyperextension, and lateral hyperflexion. EVS Race Collars are then further refined using test data and real-world feedback from riders on the track and the trail, along with further input from racers in the karting scene who also use these collars for racing.

An often-overlooked and underrated part of a dirt bike rider's protective equipment kit is a quality pair of moto socks. On the surface, one might think, 'They're just socks. Is there really that much of a difference?' The short answer is YES—especially when the socks are purpose-built for motocross and offroad trail riding. A good pair of socks like those made by EVS Sports help provide a more focused and fun day of riding—without unwanted distractions like blisters, hot spots, or poorly placed seams that come with a bad sock choice.

EVS T5 helmets combine clean, bold graphics with performance, function, and comfort features usually only included with premium models. With two unique configurations to choose from—MX/Offroad or Dual Sport—the T5 is designed to protect what matters most during those epic days at the track, out on the trail, or when on single or multi-day dual sport adventures—without maxing out your apparel budget.

The EVS line of Ballistic Jerseys includes a diverse range of options for those looking for more protection than standard roost deflectors. From our ultra-lightweight and breathable Comp Suit to the G7 with full upper body protection, EVS Ballistic Jerseys offer the ultimate in off-road protection from crash impacts, roost, and other on-the-trail debris.

For those participating in action sports, shoulder injuries can be a common occurrence. That’s why EVS created a line of shoulder braces and supports for action sports athletes for dealing with and helping to prevent shoulder injuries. This article provides a brief, high-level overview of the various models that make up the EVS line of shoulder braces.

EVS Sports, the original protective gear company, is known for their knee braces but few know that the Ballistic Jersey was really the second product ever made by EVS Sports.  Check out the full story to learn more about the origins and history of the iconic Ballistic Jersey from EVS Sports.
For dirt bike riders, there’s no question that the knees are one of the most complex and vulnerable parts of the human body. Here's a brief overview of knee braces versus knee pads and the pros and cons of both that will help you make a more informed decision.
