We all deal with our own challenges and adversity, but for some they are more significant than others. From the outside, young ripper Tanner Corbin seems like a toddler who loves everything two wheels, but Tanner has been diagnosed and dealing with Cystic Fibrosis since he was a two week old newborn.
Cystic Fibrosis is a hereditary and potentially life threatening disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Because of CF, his body creates a thick mucus that affects his lungs and pancreas, which makes breathing and digesting food a difficult task. He's unable to absorb food unless he eats meals with enzymes and also has to do 30 minutes of chest therapy with a vest that shakes his core and his lungs to help break up the mucus.
Even with such adversity in front him and with him being such a young age, the strength that Tanner shows day in and day out to not only fight, but to thrive and enjoy life is truly incredible. Anything with two wheels is an escape for Tanner...Stacyc, PW50, you name it, Tanner will love it.
The strength and resolve that Tanner and his amazing family show everyday is something to admire.
