MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS SERIES

Round 8 of the Monster Energy Supercross Series took place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida. 

Team EVS rider of RJ Hampshire had another great night in his home town race of Tampa, Florida.  The Geico Honda rider got out front early in the main and was able to lock down a 4^th place finish on the night.  This moves RJ into 3^rd place in the points going into Atlanta next weekend. 

Another big story line of the night was current West Coast 250 Champion Justin Hill making his 450 class debut.  Justin turned heads all day by qualifying 4^th into the night show, winning his heat race and finishing 6^thplace in the main event.  EVS had a total of 10 riders in the main events with Kyle Peters (13^th), Nick Gaines (14^th), Jacob Williamson (18^th), Josh Osby (19^th) in the 250 class and Vince Friese (11^th), Kyle Chisholm (13^th), Ben Lamay (17^th), Justin Starling (18^th) in the 450 class. 

Round 9 of the series heads to Atlanta Georgia to the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium at on March 3^rd 2018.
