Jamie Guida of Vital MX sat down with EVS Senior Vice President, Todd Lentz to discuss his history with the brand and learn a little more about the company.

At age 57, Arnold "Dominator" Martinez is still a racer at heart and loves winning. He also believes he has another purpose for being at the races: helping other racers make better safety gear choices for watercraft racing. Learn more about Arnold Martinez and his contributions to the sport of watercraft racing.

At EVS, we continue to design and develop products to protect action sports athletes so they can stay healthy and participate in the sports they love. In the latest installment of our Why Wear series, we share the story of aspiring BMX racer Trent Hoyem and his family and why EVS Knee and Elbow Guards are an integral part of his protective equipment lineup each time he lines up at the starting gate.

Travis Pastrana has been an integral part of the EVS family since his early years as a young, up-and-coming motocross racer. How did the relationship between EVS Sports and Travis Pastrana begin? The following is a brief history of one of the longest-standing friendships in motocross and how it continues today.

Kyle Chisholm has had an outstanding 2022 season in both the 450 and 250 classes in arguably one of the most competitive Supercross seasons in years. And at the age of 34, he just keeps learning, getting faster, often beating factory riders and many of the young guns in the sport. We recently caught up with Kyle to ask him about his 2022 Supercross season and what's next for Team Chiz.

#TeamEVS athlete Preston Kilroy makes his professional Supercross debut this weekend in Minneapolis for the start of East Coast!  We got a chance to catch up with him to learn how prep has gone and what his mindset is going into the start of his season.
Kody Kamm has made a career as one of the top racers on the ISOC Snocross circuit. Known for his smooth riding style and fun-loving attitude off the track, we called up the 2017 Pro Open Snocross Champion to ask how he transitioned from dirt to snow, how he's upped his preseason preparation by training at Club MX in the Carolinas, and what his goals are for 2022 and beyond.

After two successful seasons with the Phoenix Racing Honda team, Kyle Peters heads into the 2022 Arenacross season as the rider to beat as he makes a run at his third straight title. After the opening rounds of the Kicker AMA Arenacross Series, we checked in with the Greensboro, North Carolina native to ask him about 2022 and beyond.

While EVS started as a motocross specific protection company when we introduced the first evet motocross specific knee brace in 1985, the crossover aspect of our product being able to be worn in other or sports has grown more and more apparent as the brand has evolved.  As EVS has grown and changed over the years, we have become a one stop shop for any protective gear for almost any activity imaginable including mountain biking, snowmobiling, any/all action sports, and more.  Another avenue that EVS is growing in is the world of karting.

To say that Brandy Richards had a stellar 2021 season would be a massive understatement. The KTM-supported motocross racer turned offroad racer put together a perfect season in the WORCS Series and would have done the same in the NGPC series had she not missed one round to attend the ISDE in Italy. In Italy, she swept every test and won the individual Women's ISDE Overall Title and helped lead the U.S. Women's Trophy Team to victory. After her final race of the year, we checked in with Brandy to ask for her take on one incredible 2021 season and what some of her goals are in 2022.

The 2021 Mini Olympics at Gatorback Cycle Park somehow surpassed the overall success the 2020 edition event in nearly every way both for the event as a whole and for us/EVS Sports.  Pulling onto the grounds for the first time we had anticipated we would be on site 'early' to be prepared and ready to provide support to #TeamEVS riders but it was apparent as soon as we pulled in that we were not early.  'Vendor Row' and the grounds in general were already at or near capacity, much more so than 2020.

Jeff Crutcher is a full-time racer, owns and manages a race team, and runs a successful motocross graphics business. He's one of the passionate people in powersports who go above and beyond to help promote the sport. Learn more about Jeff in this interview after the opening round of the Hoosier Tire Arenacross Outlaws Series.
Agustin Barreneche is a motocross racer on the rise as he works his way through the amateur ranks towards the goal of becoming a professional. As a member of the Team EBR Performance squad and hailing from Medellin, Columbia, Barreneche and his family decided a few years back to live and train in the United States based out of the Millsaps Training Facility (MTF) in Cairo, Georgia, where he now lives and trains the majority of the year under the tutelage of MTF Owner Colleen Millsaps.
Freddie Noren, who, despite missing three mid-season rounds because of a wrist injury, finished out the series 19th in the final 450-class standings. We asked the likable and friendly Swede now living and racing in the U.S. for his take on the 2021 outdoor season and what's in store for "Fast Freddie" in 2022. Here's what he had to say.
Christian "CD" Dresser is a rider on the move—both literally and figuratively. The Oviedo, Florida native and former racer-turned-freerider has experienced tremendous growth recently with his social media following thanks to his silky-smooth style and massive physics-defying whips. But as a talented upcoming freerider living and riding in Florida, he realized the time was now for a change of scenery to keep his momentum going. So he packed up his bike and belongings and moved his base of operations from Florida to southern California to take his freeriding career to the next level. We were curious to know more, so we called up Christian and asked him about the move, what it's been like adjusting to his new west coast lifestyle, and what's ahead in the future.
With the Summer Olympic Games recently ending, we asked #TeamEVS athlete Payton "P-Nut" Ridenour about her experience representing the United States as a member of Team USA BMX. At just 19 years old, the Pottstown, Pennsylvania native was the youngest member of the USA Olympic BMX team after turning pro at the start of the 2021 season.

Motocross, and athletics in general, to the public can often be deceiving.  The general public doesn’t see the amount of ‘work’ that gets put in for riders at the top of the sport to race at the level that they do.  That ‘work’ can come in various forms…obviously there is a large amount of actual riding being done on the motorcycle, but there’s also a large amount of off the bike training and exercise that’s all done to help a rider race at the highest level.

We check in with Team TiLube/Storm Lake Honda Racing rider Grant Harlan to see what he's been up to lately and how his recovery is going after his crash at the Daytona Supercross earlier this year.

The EVS design team is driven to create products that protect action sports athletes. It's one of the main reasons we continue to do what we do and create protective equipment to help keep our enthusiast customers protected no matter what the activity. For the latest installment in our 'Why Wear' series, we interviewed motocross racer Josh Tracy to ask him why he uses EVS Knee Braces when he rides moto. Here's his story.
Crashes are an inevitable part of riding dirt bikes, and as racers, we inherently know each time we suit up, there’s a chance of going down, especially when other racers are added to the mix on the same track. For EVS athlete Zachary Pope, one minor miscue led to what he describes as a freak accident and one of the wildest rides of his life. The crash, captured by photographer Mike Vizer, went viral on Instagram with 235,000+ views to date. So, I called up Zachary Pope to ask about his crash, check in on his recovery, and find out when he hopes to get on the bike and riding again.
